As part of the festival ‘Verstörungen. Ein Fest für Thomas Bernhard’ (Disturbances. A Celebration for Thomas Bernhard) at Goldegg Castle. The 2025 ‘Verstörungen’ will begin with a staged production of Thomas Bernhard's “Jagdgesellschaft” (The Hunting Party) in collaboration with the Thomas Bernhard Institute at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. In keeping with its commitment to emerging artists, the Mozarteum's ‘Theatermacherinnen’ (Theatre Makers) will be designing a programme item for the first time.

The Department of Scenography opens its studios, workshops, painting room, lighting and CAD laboratory. Stage design students present their diploma theses, stage and costume designs, stage models and installations as part of the exhibition. This will be followed by the Sommerfest of scenography and the Thomas Bernhard Institute.

‘The Beautiful Show of Failure’ looks behind the scenes of public figures and tells stories of failure, friction and reorientation. Four artists open the doors to their inner lives and reveal what lies hidden behind the beautiful show.
