Experimental theatre works: In the summer semester 2025, students from the 2nd and 3rd year of drama and the theatre directing course at the Thomas Bernhard Institute will present their jointly developed Freiraum projects. These projects are characterised by collective artistic processes and the testing of experimental working methods.

(Location: Stadtgalerie Mozartplatz) In the form of graphic scores, landscape photographs and an experimental animated film, Sophie Thammer and Sihua Ren will be showing the entire genesis of ‘ein weites Feld’, a project as part of Spot On MozART: an intensive examination of the first movement of the Symphony in A major KV 201, which describes various approaches to visualising the musical structures of the piece.

The Salzburg Open Arts Programme is a free art study programme that explores the inter-, trans-, cross-, multi- and undisciplinary as an independent artistic and theoretical field of action and thus encounters the diverse realities of the world. Interested parties have the opportunity to get to know the new degree programme.
