The SZENE Salzburg becomes the setting for one of the most popular choral works of the 20th century: Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana". With students from the percussion and piano classes, vocal soloists and Mozarteum vocalEnsemble. (Conductor: Jörn Andresen)

At the invitation of the Bischofshofen Organ Festival 2023, the Mozarteum vocalEnsemble, conducted by Jörn Andresen, will perform Bach's double-choir motets BWV 225-231.

In view of the shortage of trained teachers, which also affects the artistic subjects, pressing questions arise for music education. We cordially invite you to an action day dedicated to and reflecting on the questions for the teachers of the future.

The interdisciplinary symposium deals with the interconnections and perspectives between music and mathematics. The symposium will be organised together with (inter)national experts from the fields of mathematics, statistics, computer science, AI, composition and music research.

In the chamber music concerts, students from all classes across the departments present a varied programme in different instrumentations. Great masterpieces as well as interesting discoveries of chamber music from all epochs from duo to octet and beyond.

The workshop with Sarah Loukota gives ideas on how alpine folk songs can be used in everyday school life or in children's and youth choirs. The aim is to experience in practice how to yodel with children, how and which folk songs are particularly fun.

An interactive concert with audience participation, featuring works by Max Reger and Sergei Rachmaninov, inlay improvisations on Reger's Variations and Rachmaninov's Sonata.
