The highly qualified team supports students and teachers in realising their artistic ideas. Contact: andreas.greiml@moz.ac.at Every stage production requires intensive teamwork between all those involved: musicians, performers, direction, dramaturgy, stage design, technology. The central task of the Event Technology Department is to work with this team to find and implement solutions, ensuring the best possible results in rehearsals and performances while complying with applicable standards and university guidelines. Within this real-life situation, the Event Technology Department trains students and staff in the relevant technical regulations and the legal, technical and safety regulations pertaining to events (such as the Event Act, Venue Regulations, Safety Guidelines, Fire Safety Regulations, etc.). In addition, it is the point of contact for competent advice in the technical field and offers specialist advice on purchases made by the various departments. The department also provides apprenticeships for those training as event technicians and specialising in event technology. The places of work include the venues and rehearsal stages of the University Mozarteum Salzburg as well as guest venues as required.
