Milan Radic

Lecturer in Orchestra Training (Viola)Strings Department

Milan Radic has been principal violist of the Mozarteumorchester since 1998 and also performs frequently in Salzburg with the œnm - österreichisches ensemble für neue musik. He has given numerous concerts as a soloist with renowned orchestras in Europe and Japan. Recently he has devoted himself to solo activities in his native Slovakia and performed, among other works, the liturgy for viola and orchestra "Vom Winde beweint" with the RSO Bratislava in the presence of composer Giya Kancheli, and Berlioz "Harold in Italien" with the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra. He has taught at the Mozarteum University since 2008, the year in which he also joined the Mozarteum Quartet.
