Ellen Braslavsky is a pianist and music educator. She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in North and South America, Europe, Japan and Korea. Together with cellist Jeremy Findlay and violinist Nurit Pacht, she co-founded the Flatiron Trio in Krakow in 1995, an ensemble particularly dedicated to music education. She is also a member of Ensemble Salzburg, which she formed together with Risa Schuchter, Bernhard Krabatsch and Jeremy Findlay in 2005 and with whom she performs a repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary music. In addition to the Mozarteum University, she has previously taught at the Juilliard School and Mannes College of Music and is currently on the faculty of the Virtuoso Academy in New York.
