Guest Lecturer on the course "Advanced Studies in Music and Dance Education – Orff-Schulwerk“ (Helsinki)⋅Department of Elemental Music & Dance Education – Orff Institute
Soili Perkiö studied music education at the Sibelius Academy and the Orff Institute in Salzburg. She specialises in music and movement, folk music and early childhood music education. Since 1995, Soili has been a lecturer at the Sibelius Academy and, following her retirement, continues to teach there part-time. She has taught at educational conferences on all continents and has created television and radio programmes for children, as well as music for children, dance and theatre. Soili is the author of more than 70 books and audio publications for general music education.
