Elisabeth Wieland

Elisabeth Wieland is a senior scientist at Mozarteum University Salzburg. She studied Music Education and Instrumental Music Education at the Mozarteum before completing further studies in Applied Knowledge Management at the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland. Following a teaching position at BAKIP Salzburg (2001–2002), she has taught Music and Instrumental Music Education, with a focus on choral conducting, at BORG Bad Hofgastein since 2002. Between 2006 and 2007, she led the course Use of Learning Platforms in the Classroom, and from 2008 to 2010 she organised and directed three nationwide Austrian congresses on music and e-learning. In recognition of her contribution to music education, she received the Salzburg Music Teacher Award in 2016.
