Senior Lecturer for guitarDepartment Music Education Innsbruck
Stefan Neuner teaches guitar, electric guitar, ensemble & jazz theory at the Music School Telfs and surroundings. Since 2006 he has been a lecturer at the Department of Music Education in Innsbruck for guitar practice and jazz/pop/rock ensemble. He plays concerts in Austria and abroad and participates as an electric guitarist in various projects - from cover bands, fusion formations to live performances and productions for Semino Rossi, Marika Lichter, The Pure, Dietz, among others. At the Tyrolean Landestheater he has participated in Jesus Christ Superstar, Wozzeck, Klangspuren Schwaz and Evita, among others, and has released several albums.
Stefan Neuner began his music lessons at the music school in Telfs in guitar, electric guitar, piano and singing. He studied guitar with Maria Isabell Siewers and singing with Christoph Rösel at the Innsbruck Institute for Music Education, as well as concert guitar at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg with Maria Isabell Siewers and Robert Wolf. During this time he worked with various ensembles and as a soloist with various orchestras. Neuner has attended numerous master classes, including with Alvaro Pierri, Pavel Steidl, Abel Carlevaro and Konrad Schrenk, and was a prizewinner at the International Ivor Mairants Guitar Awards in London.
