Tünde Kurucz

Tünde Kurucz studied piano with Kornél Zempléni, Imre Rohmann and Ferenc Rados at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, completing her studies in 1984 with distinction. Her early career saw her excel in numerous competitions, paving the way for a busy concert schedule as a soloist and chamber musician across Europe and in Japan, the USA and Canada, including appearances at the Salzburg Festival, Salzburg Mozart Week, Vienna Festival, Schwätzing Festival. She has performed in a piano duo with Imre Rohmann since 1985. Tünde Kurucz has taught at the Mozarteum University since 1985; she was appointed as an associate professor in 2006.
