Tünde Kurucz studied piano with Kornél Zempléni, Imre Rohmann and Ferenc Rados at the F. Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and received her concert diploma with distinction in 1984. Following numerous competition successes, she has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician in numerous European countries, including the Salzburg Festival, Salzburg Mozart Week, Vienna Festival, Schwätzing Festival and in Japan, the USA and Canada. She has been playing in a piano duo with Imre Rohmann since 1985, has been a lecturer since 1985 and has been an associate professor at the University of the Mozarteum since 2006
