Karoline Renner has been a flutist with the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz since 1995 and is regularly active as a musician in chamber music and orchestras in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. She is vice-chair of the working group on health and prophylaxis of the German Orchestral Association. As a certified instructor for Dispokinesis, she gives workshops and individual lessons at international master classes and universities. She is particularly interested in research on hand dexterity in professional musicians*.
Karoline Renner (*1966) completed her artistic training at the Universities of Graz and Zurich with a diploma in instrumental education as well as a concert and soloist diploma. Since 1995 she has been a member of the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz as a flutist. She is also a regular musician in chamber music and orchestras in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and has worked with conductors such as Wolfgang Sawallisch, Claudio Abbado, Mariss Jansons, Lalo Schifrin and Philippe Jordan. She plays, among other things, as a soloist with the baroque ensemble of the Wiener Symphoniker.  In 2004 she completed the training in Dispokinesis of the European Society for Dispokinesis eV, which she chaired from 2008 to 2013. She is a lecturer in the training course of the European Society for Dispokinesis. Since 2005, Karoline Renner has held seminars and workshops for dispokinesis and mental training, most recently at the Frankfurt am Main Music Academy (Oliver Siefert), the mdw - University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, the FRANZ LISZT Music Academy in Weimar, the Swiss Society for Music-Medicine, the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival (master classes Tabea Zimmermann, Siegfried Jerusalem, Maurice Steger, David Geringas, Jens Peter Maintz, Brigitte Fass bands, Elisabeth Leonskaja), the Bad Neustadt Conference, Rhön-Klinikum/Swiss University Center for Music Physiology, am State Theater Meiningen, at the Vorarlberg State Conservatory in Feldkirch, at the JJ Fux Conservatory in Graz, at the Music Academy in Lübeck (Angela Firkins), at the Gewandhaus Orchestra in Leipzig and the Mendelssohn Orchestra Academy, at the University of the Arts in Berlin, horn class (Christian-Friedrich Dallmann) and the International Master Classes Emsburen. She is deputy chair of the working group on health and prophylaxis of the German Orchestra Association, delegate of the German Orchestra Association for the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz and was responsible for the conceptual support of the health days of the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz from 2016 to 2019. She was also an employee of the education program of the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz, initiator and organizer of children's concerts and chairwoman of the staff council and orchestra board of her orchestra. Karoline Renner has also been a cooperation partner of the Center for Professional Musicians in Hamburg since 2016.
