Under the artistic direction of Hannfried Lucke, four intensive weeks came to an end on Saturday, featuring 57 masterclasses in 13 subjects, Young Excellence classes and numerous additional offerings on health and professional qualification for musicians. A total of 12 prize winners were honoured for their outstanding achievements.

The young participants completed a varied programme with lectures, studio and lecturer concerts, and guest performances from Salzburg to Flachau. A special highlight was this year's master class with Maestra Silvana Bazzoni Bartoli and Maestra Cecilia Bartoli. Singers of all voice types had the unique opportunity to work on fundamental principles of vocal technique. At the end of each course period, the best young artists were honoured in the ‘Matinees of the Prize Winners’ – they were delighted to receive prize money totalling 12,000 euros from the Cultural Fund of the City of Salzburg.
