The annual festival LIMINA of the Institute for New Music and the Studio for Electronic Music of the Mozarteum University promotes international cooperation between composers and students of contemporary music from different countries. Crossroads develops opportunities and networks for young musicians and focuses on building and expanding international relationships.
Young composition students from various European countries are guests at the LIMINA Festival in Salzburg every year, where they develop and present their works, participate in lectures and exchange ideas with students from the Mozarteum University. Participants are selected in advance through a Call For Scores. In addition to the concerts and lectures, the festival is complemented by social events and special productions.
