In autumn 2024, bass-baritone Lisandro Abadie, actress Hanna Binder, conductor Christiane Büttig, visual artist Annette Fauvel, guitarists Giuseppe Feola and Bozhana Pavlova, cultural and media scientist Paul Feigelfeld, composer Laure M. Hiendl, pianist Lei Meng, soprano Allison Oakes and violist German Tcakulov will take up their positions as university professors at the Mozarteum University. Orff's 125th birthday, the 100th anniversary of Wilhelm Keller, and the 60th anniversary of the Orff Institute provide an opportunity in 2021 - one year late due to corona - to illuminate Carl Orff's pioneering work from an artistic and scholarly perspective.

Teacher of Music & Movement

A total of 15 departments and 5 institutes at the Salzburg and Innsbruck locations form the research and teaching profile of the Mozarteum University in the disciplines of music, music and dance education, performing and visual arts, directing, scenography, liberal arts and interdisciplinary.

The University Council of the Mozarteum University for the functional period 2023 to 2028 is now complete. Thomas Rietschel, M.A. and Sarah Wedl-Wilson, MA (Cantab) were elected by the Senate of the Mozarteum University. The Federal Ministry of Science and Research appointed Mag.a Silvia Grünberger and Univ.-Prof.in Mag.a Dr.in Rosa Reitsamer to the board. The four nominated members elected Em. o. Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Karlheinz Töchterle as the fifth member, who was also elected chairman of the collegial body in May. Rosa Reitsamer was elected as vice-chairman.
