Marion Spingler

Marion Spingler began her musical activity in elementary school with singing lessons, choir, piano and harmony at the music school Neustrelitz, first practical experience as a singer she gained at also the Landestheater Neustrelitz.

Marion Spingler began her musical activity at primary school with singing lessons, choir, piano and harmony at the music school in Neustrelitz, she gained her first practical experience as a singer at the Landestheater Neustrelitz. During her school days, concert tours took her to Bulgaria, Poland and the Czech Republic. She studied singing and singing pedagogy at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin. In 1982 she went to the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow as a guest student on a scholarship. In 1985 she completed her studies with a diploma in singing and a diploma in singing pedagogy.

From 1996 she studied singing at the Cologne Music Academy with Josef Metternich and was engaged at opera houses in Bonn, Essen and Cologne during her studies. She attended master classes with Günter Leib, Ruth Berghaus and Harry Kupfer. A special time was the commitment in Wuppertal in cooperation with Pina Bausch. She was able to gain teaching experience in the university preparatory class at the Hanns Eisler Music Academy, at the music schools in Neustrelitz, Grünwald, Neuried and at the Cologne University of Education.

Since 2001 she has been teaching singing and teaching practice singing at the Mozarteum University.
