SCANNING DIMENSIONS opens a space of projection and light as a dialogue and flowing transition between music and video, where one of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's early pieces, KV15dd, becomes the content point of departure for the visualization and staging in space.

Raimonda Žiūkaitė's opera composition "Salt is My Heritage" was chosen as the Work of the Year in the category of stage works by the Composers' Union of Lithuania. The work was performed by Lidia Luciano (soprano), students of the Mozarteum University and the œnm under the direction of Félix Marest. The premiere took place on October 28, 2021, as part of the Crossroads Festival. It was directed by Giulia Giammona and the libretto was written by Franz Jäger.

Master's project by Abel Kotorman. Together with co-researchers, Abel Kotorman explores questions of the aesthetics of socio-political and personal crises. Interactive, scenic archive work offers insights and the opportunity to ask questions.

This year's Bella Musica tour promises an extraordinary highlight: for the first time, the original violin by W. A. Mozart will be presented in the city of Lucca on 28 August 2024 as part of the Bella Musica tour. This unique opportunity is made possible by a new collaboration with the Mozarteum Foundation.

After the Senate and the University Council of the University Mozarteum Salzburg announced the re-election of Rector Prof.in Elisabeth Gutjahr in February 2021, her team was also re-elected in May 2021. The performance of Vincenzo Bellini's opera I Capuleti e i Montecchi delivered a powerful reinterpretation of the masterpiece. Directed by Alexander von Pfeil, the production centred on the relentless feud between two rival clans and the profound despair of its victims. This staging transcended specific eras, placing the story in a universal, timeless setting that brought Bellini's dark vision of love and war to the stage with harrowing clarity.

On June 23, the touch-down event of the Sustainability Challenge took place at WU Vienna, where Mozarteum students Eva-Maria Sallinger and Lena-Maria Schuster presented their annual project. The Sustainability Challenge recently won the international "SDG Education Programme of the Year".
