Klaus Eibensteiner
As a singer, Klaus Eibensteiner has been a member of a wide variety of small ensembles over the years. As a tenor soloist, he focuses primarily on sacred music from the Renaissance to the Classical period, and on stage he has performed mainly in Singspiele and in works of the 20th and 21st centuries. He has been the pianist and arranger of the Salzburg Comedian Harmonists, of which he is a founding member, since 2001. He founded and served as artistic director of the series Contemporary Vocal Music at Schloss Mirabell, where he performed his own works as well as new commissions and cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach. Since 1989, he has taught répétition and voice, served as an assistant in music-dramatic training for actors, and provided vocal repertoire coaching for singers at Mozarteum University Salzburg.
