Veronica Kröner

Veronica Kröner founded the youth/student orchestra AMICI MUSICI in 1995. Since March 2008 she has been teaching violin didactics and teaching practice at the University Mozarteum and is active as a lecturer at further education courses at home and abroad With Adolf Hennig she founded the Duo Claviol in 1988 and as primaria the Styria Quartet.
Veronica Kröner completed her violin and pedagogical studies at the Graz University of Music with Klaus Eichholz. Further studies and master classes followed, among others, with Max Rostal, Edith Peinemann, Wanda Wilkomirska, Ion Voicu, Sandor Vegh, Erich Höbarth, Ernst Kovacic, Monica Huggett, Ingrid Seifert, the Artis and Amadeus Quartet. 

Since 1992 she has taken part in Nikolaus Harnoncourt's Concentus Musicus Wien. From 1989 to 1992 she was concertmaster at the Vienna Academy, after which she played in the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra. Also since 1992 she has been concertmaster and soloist at the Haydn Academy in Vienna (all Haydn symphonies and violin concertos). From 1996-1998 she also held this position in the Orquesta Ciudad de Granada. Since 1998 she has also played as a soloist, chamber and orchestra musician and as concertmaster in concerts, television, CD and DVD recordings in orchestras and ensembles with modern and historical instruments such as Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, Salzburger Hofmusik, Orqesta Ciudad de Granada, Piccolo concerto Wien, Le Parlement de Musique Straßburg, Ensemble lyrique Amsterdam, La Stagione Frankfurt, Graz Philharmonic Orchestra, Orqesta Teatro Lliure Barcelona, Real filharmonia de Galicia Santiago de Compostela, The Vienna Series, Counterpoints Vienna, Pythagoras-Ensemble Freiburg and works with well-known conductors such as Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Milan Horvat, Trevor Pinnock, Fabio Luisi, Daniel Harding, Josep Pons, Hansjörg Schellenberger and others.

With great passion she also dedicates  of teaching: as an assistant at the Graz University of Music (1989-1992), since 1992 as head of a training class for violin, viola and chamber music at the Joseph Haydn Conservatory in Eisenstadt, 2002-2008 also the orchestra.
