Mari Ota studied piano performance with Karl-Heinz Kämmerling and chamber music with Alfons Kontarsky at the Mozarteum University. As a soloist and chamber musician, she has performed in Japan and Europe and recorded several CDs, including Mozart's Concerto for Two Pianos and the Concerto for Three Pianos with Cyprien Katsaris. She has been active as a pianist with the Salzburg Bach Choir since 2009 and works as a répétiteur for renowned institutions such as the Salzburg Festival and the Mozartwoche Salzburg. Since 2018, she has been a teaching assistant to Gereon Kleiner at the Mozarteum University.
