Levi Pritz

Senior Artist in the field of Textiles / DTT EducationDepartment of Fine Arts & Design

Levi Pritz explores the body as a site of social and cultural inscription through sculpture, textiles, installation, printmaking, digital media and performance. Her work examines aesthetics and the abject, questioning the norms that shape our understanding of the body, identity and impermanence.

Levi Pritz is an artist and a member of the Vienna-based intersectional queer-feminist artists' collective Haus of Rausch. She studied Design and Textile Design before joining the youth organisation Verein Spektrum in 2017, where she develops arts and STEM education programmes within open youth work.

Since 2022, Pritz has taught in the Design.Textiles teacher education programme at Mozarteum University Salzburg.

Her artistic practice spans sculpture, printmaking, textile art, installation, digital media and performance. Central themes include aesthetics and the abject, the human body and the social and cultural norms that shape it, as well as processes of decay and transience.
