Once a year, students of visual education are invited to perform in the Great Hall of the Salzburg Künstlerhaus. This close relationship between an art association and students in the experimental phase is unique in Austria - and a challenge for the students.

Angelika Wienerroither wins Ö1 Audience Award On November 3, the highly endowed Ö1 Talent Scholarship for Visual Arts was awarded at the Leopold Museum. The audience award of Ö1 listeners went to Angelika Wienerroither, who studies photography and painting at the Department of Fine Arts and Design. She wins a free participation in the "Artist Statement" at Parallel Vienna 2023.

New music and arts education program for schools With the Moz-Art-Zone, the Mozarteum University will offer an expanded music and art education program starting in the winter semester of 2022/23 with an interdisciplinary offering that aims to awaken enthusiasm and interest in students and opens the doors of the university wide for this purpose.

Mozarteum meets Segafredo: Award ceremony of the design competition On Thursday, June 23, 2022, the award ceremony of the design competition for the first Segafredo "At Home" cup collection took place at the Segafredo Zanetti roasting plant in Hallwang. Nexus of Textile and Sound at the FWF PEEK Program Gertrud Fischbacher and her cooperation partner Marius Schebella (FH Salzburg) were awarded with the project "Nexus of Textile and Sound" at the annual funding program of the FWF for the development and opening up of the arts (PEEK)! They won the Research Competition Mozarteum (RCM) at the end of 2019, the PEEK application, which is based on intensive local cooperation with the FH Salzburg, is a further development of the RCM project.

Tour of the Department of Fine Arts & Design After a break due to corona, the Department of Fine Arts and Design is finally opening its workshops and studios again: from April 6 to 8, interested parties will have the opportunity to gain insights into the diverse work of young artists and to try their hand at numerous workshops. Concerts and performances round off the program. The Tour 2022 will be accompanied by a charity art sale for Ukraine.

Mozarteum meets Segafredo: Art, Coffee & Design In a competition organized by Segafredo Zanetti Austria, students from the Department of Fine Arts and Design at the Mozarteum University are designing the first collection of cups for enjoying coffee at home, which will be launched when the company's own online store goes live in summer 2022.
