Intensive master classes with 53 renowned, top-class artists and teachers from the Mozarteum University and the international music industry, numerous public concerts and a colorful supporting program: from July 17 to August 12, the International Summer Academy will once again open its doors. The former three course periods of two weeks each became four one-week course periods, which are presented as intensive master classes.

520 musicians from 51 nations will participate in the International Summer Academy in 2023. The nations most strongly represented are China, South Korea, Japan, Germany and the USA. The young musicians can look forward to 51 master classes and 16 additional courses as well as numerous concerts.

The crowning event is a new competition format on the Saturday of each course period, in which the best students of the week present their skills to a jury. In the end, the best three musicians will emerge as the prize winners of the week. In addition, each of the 51 master classes in the disciplines of voice, piano, organ, violin, viola, cello, flute, bassoon, percussion and marimba will present a final concert. The dates of the master classes will be published on the website during the course periods.
