The exhibition of the artists' collective Alpine Gothic deals with the construction of rural idyll and the concept of "home". In dialogue with the local people, the artists seek a conscious confrontation with their regional lifeworld and set alienating accents that enable a different perception of everyday life.
As part of the Moz-Art-Zone, the students first deal with their own idea of rural idyll and home in a workshop, and then approach the works in the exhibition. In the artist talk with Erik Hable, the approaches and ideas of the artists' collective will be discussed. Students will have the opportunity to develop their own artistic project ideas against the background of the discussion.
