Bozena Angelova

The Slovenian violinist Bozena Angelova received her training at the Mozarteum University with Helfried Fister, Igor Ozim, Rainer Schmidt and Reinhard Goebel, among others. Her special love is chamber music, her repertoire ranges from Baroque to Classical, Romantic and Modern. In addition to a busy concert schedule, she has been teaching at the Mozarteum University as assistant to Harald Herzl since 2011.
She has won numerous national and international competitions. As a soloist she made her debut with the Orchestra of the Slovenian Philharmonic in Ljubljana with the Violin Concerto by Johannes Brahms. This was followed by concerts with the Carinthian Symphony Orchestra, the Maribor Philharmonic Orchestra, the New Chamber Orchestra and the Ars academica Orchestra in Spain and Germany and archive recordings for Slovenian radio and television and for the ORF.
