Masterclasses, concerts, operettas, contemporary composition and much more between Salzburg, Bad Ischl and Siena: an exciting academy summer awaits at the Mozarteum University!
Since 2021, the Mozarteum University's Department of Early Music has organised a Baroque Summer Academy in Siena, Italy, as part of the renowned Accademia Musicale Chigiana. The cooperation with Siena's Chigiana Foundation enables the teaching of Early Music in a unique setting influenced by Baroque and Renaissance.
The academy takes place over the period of one week, with the department's team of lecturers conducting intensive master classes for students from all over the world. In addition to classes, participants can expect concerts by students and faculty, orchestra projects and other activities.
