Katharina Kerner

Katharina Kerner studied mathematics, school music, music theory and aural training in Mannheim. After teaching at the Mannheim University of Music and the Wiesbaden Music Academy, she has been a Senior Lecturer for Music Theory and Aural Training at the Department of Music Education Innsbruck at the Mozarteum University since the winter semester 2022/23.
She also currently leads the didactics seminar "Music Theory in Schools" at the Mannheim University of Music and is developing a digital learning platform on the basics of music theory for the university. In addition, she is artistically active in various ensembles as a violinist, choir singer and accompanist across genres.
