Lucy Revers-Chin

Lucy Revers-Chin received her musical training from Robert Scholz and later from Kurt Neumüller at the Mozarteum University. Here she acquired her artistic and pedagogical diploma and was awarded the  Bernhard Paumgartner Medal awarded. She studied with Leon Fleisher at the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, where she also received her master's degree.  Among other things, she won the gold medal at the "Concorso Pianistico Internazionale Rina Sala Gallo" in Monza, Italy, first prizes at the "Kurt Leimer Competition" in Salzburg and at the "International Piano Recording Competition", Texas, USA, and gave concerts in Europe and the USA and in Asia. 

From 1980 to 1984 she held a professorship for piano at the State Conservatory for Vorarlberg in Feldkirch, in 2008 she completed her artistic habilitation for piano at the Mozarteum University. She has been teaching at the Mozarteum University since 1982, where she -Worked as a functional assistant to the then department head Peter Lang in 1993. She has been leading a preparatory class for gifted young people since 1993. Since 2008 she has been an associate professor at the Mozarteum University.
