Hiro Kurosaki is one of the most sought-after specialists in the field of historical performance practice. He is a professor at the Conservatorio superior de Madrid, at the Mozarteum University Salzburg and mdw Vienna.

Raised and educated in Vienna, winning prizes at major international competitions such as Henryk Wieniawski and Fritz Kreisler, he began performing as a soloist with major European orchestras at a young age. Soon, however, he discovered the fascination of historical performance practice and sought collaboration with the most important representatives in this field such as René Clemencic, John Eliot Gardiner, Jordi Savall as well as William Christie, whose orchestra Les Arts Florissants Hiro Kurosaki has now been associated with for over thirty years as concertmaster and soloist.

He is regularly invited to workshops and courses at important institutions such as the Accademia Chigiana Siena and the University of Salamanca. His extensive discography includes recordings of the complete violin sonatas by Handel (with W. Christie on harpsichord) and Mozart and Beethoven (with Linda Nicholson on fortepiano).
on the fortepiano). Many times awarded by international critics, they have already become reference recordings on historical instruments.
