Maria Kalesnikava opens the Salzburg Festival
Maria Kalesnikava – Belarusian flautist, conductor, cultural manager, and Honorary Professor at Mozarteum University – delivered the opening speech at this year's Salzburg Festival. Her powerful reflections on freedom, responsibility and the unifying force of art deeply moved the audience and highlighted the essential role of culture in challenging times.
