James Joyces' Ulysses (1922) and the wanderings of the Irish advertising canvasser through Dublin with all the experiences and thoughts of the protagonist are still being celebrated 100 years later: on "Bloomsday", the world's only day dedicated to a novel, which has been held annually since the 1950s.

In cooperation with the Literaturhaus Salzburg and the Salzburg Society for New Music, new works by Simone Fontanelli, Jakob Gruchmann, Alexandra Karastoyanova-Hermentin and others can be heard. Thomas Friedmann talks to comic artist Nicolas Mahler about his graphic novel "Ulysses".
