Klaus Eibensteiner attended the High school in Wilhering, where he participated in the boys' choir. He also received piano lessons at the Linz Music School. After graduating from high school, he began studying music and English at the Mozarteum University Salzburg and graduated with honors. He also studied piano and vocal pedagogy. As a singer, he was and is a member of various solo ensembles. He founded the Salzburg Comedian Harmonists in 2001. He received special artistic and educational impulses from Kurt Widmer, in whose singing courses he regularly participates. He artistically founded and directed the series “Contemporary Vocal Music in Mirabell Palace”, where he performed his own works and commissioned compositions, as well as cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach. Since 1989 he has been teaching repetition, singing, musical theater for actors (as an assistant) and literary play for singers at the Mozarteum University Salzburg.
