Baroque Festival brought music-theatrical flair to Salzburg. Pastorals, operas, comedies and plays with music were staged in the Residenz, in the Stone Theatre of Hellbrunn Palace Park, in the Small and Great Assembly Hall of Salzburg's Benedictine University.

"THE TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGIN'": Lyavon Wolski, author of the most famous Belarusian protest song "Three Turtles", talks in the Rockhouse about his experiences as a protest singer, about the genre of the protest song and its possibilities and limits in the mid-20th century and today.

The conference would like to discuss what both historical caesurae and change meant and mean for musical actors and music, when transfer and transformation can have both negative and positive connotations and can entail corresponding consequences.
