The brochure "In the Footsteps of Salzburg's Music History" offers an exciting and wide-ranging selection of 'musical' and 'music-related' museums, archives & libraries, sights and venues in Salzburg - clearly presented and provided with the most important information.

Museums, archives & libraries, places of interest, venues and walks in Salzburg

Publication of the working focus Salzburg music history

These are supplemented by walks in the footsteps of Michael Haydn, Constanze Nissen (Mozart), Bernhard Paumgartner, Lilli Lehmann and Herbert von Karajan, in the course of which readers can explore Salzburg of various eras on foot and trace selected personalities of Salzburg's cultural life.

Although by no means everything worthy of consideration could be included in the brochure, it reveals an exciting, multifaceted picture of Salzburg's past and present musical history, which focuses primarily on the city of Salzburg, but in individual cases also penetrates into the far reaches of the province.
