Noriko Shiozaki

Noriko Shiozaki received her musical education at the Tokyo Conservatory of Music and, after graduating, studied piano chamber music and song accompaniment at the Mozarteum University with Erika Frieser, Paul Shilhawsky, Norman Shetler and Reimund See. She has won several awards, including first prize at the Radio Competition (CBC) in Japan. She gives concerts as a solo pianist and chamber musician in Japan and in many European countries and has recorded several CDs, among others as a partner of violinist Ruggiero Ricci. For many years she has been active as a piano teacher and accompanist at the Mozarteum University as well as in international master classes, including those of Thomas Brandis, Igor Oistrakh, Igor Ozim, Beni Schmid, Thomas Zehetmair and Ruggiero Ricci.
