Studied guitar and double bass at the Leopold Mozart Conservatory in Augsburg, graduating with the state music teacher examination. Subsequently, studying guitar at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg with Prof. Mathias Seidel, graduating in 1984 with a concert diploma with distinction. Since 1986 teaching at the Mozarteum University. Artistic activities As a lutenist, I am a member of various ensembles for early music, with continuo playing offering a wide range of tasks with a wide variety of possibilities. Ensembles I regularly perform with are the Salzburger Hofmusik, the Marini Consort Innsbruck and the Duo Mille Corde. In addition, I was invited to operas, concert projects, radio and CD recordings by orchestras such as the Munich Radio Orchestra, Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, Tyrolean State Orchestra, Hofkapelle Munich, Hofkapelle Stuttgart, Capella Triumphans, Capella Leopoldina and others. The repertoire varies from lute songs to larger ensembles to baroque operas.
