Simone Irmer offers functional bodywork for musicians based on the Feldenkrais Method as part of the Career Center, the International Mozart Competition and the International Summer Academy at the University Mozarteum Salzburg.

Simone Irmer has been a certified Feldenkrais teacher since 2000 and was trained by Mia Segal, Moshe Feldenkrais' first student and assistant for many years.

Since her studies in music and dance education, she has been concerned with the connection between music, posture and movement, and since 1995 she has been intensively involved with the Feldenkrais Method.

Based on her own musical practice and as a lecturer of international advanced training courses, she has developed and refined special concepts for instrumentalists and singers, with a profound understanding of the requirements of technique, performance, interpretation and authenticity. She works with musicians in individual and group settings as well as with orchestras, ensembles and choirs. She has been a lecturer at the University Mozarteum Salzburg since 2008, a Feldenkrais coach for participants and jury of the International Mozart Competition since 2014, and a lecturer at the International Summer Academy since 2017.
