Heike Henning

Heike Henning is Professor of Instrumental and Vocal Pedagogy at Mozarteum University Salzburg (Innsbruck campus). Her work focuses on choral pedagogy, instrumental and vocal didactics, and music education research. Alongside her teaching, she is an active choral conductor, a sought-after speaker, and founder and director of the Centre for Choral Pedagogical Research and Practice (ZECHOF).

A native of Stuttgart, Heike Henning studied church music, music education and media education before completing a doctorate in Music Education. Prior to joining the Mozarteum in 2015, she taught music pedagogy, instrumental and vocal pedagogy, and children's choir conducting at a number of universities and music academies in Germany.
