Katharina Anna Loidl

Senior Artist in Graphics, Painting, New Media & Art Education[Fine Arts] Innsbruck
Katharina Anna Loidl is a visual artist and senior artist at the University Mozarteum in the fields of Graphic & Painting and New Media in Visual Education. Her artistic oeuvre is based on conceptual practice and includes graphics, installations, video and photography. As a presentation and reflection tool of individual creative processes, the development of a digital portfolio is the focus of her teaching.
Katharina Anna Loidl (*1978) studied cultural studies and experimental design at the Institute of Fine Arts at the University of Art and Design Linz. She has been working as a freelance artist in the fields of graphics, objects, photography, video and installation since 2009. Since then, longer project and artist-in residencies have followed in various places, including Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Canada, the United States and Indonesia. Her work has been presented internationally in solo and group exhibitions and is represented in public and private collections. In addition, she realizes artistic design concepts in the course of art in architecture competitions. She has received grants and awards for her artistic work.
