Agata Meissner has been working as a répétiteur at the University Mozarteum Salzburg since 2020 and is responsible for historical keyboard instruments (harpsichord tuning and instrument care). Since 2020 she has been working on her dissertation on keyboard music in the catchment area of the Viennese court in the 17th century, which she is writing at the Mozarteum University under the supervision of Thomas Hochradner.
Agata Meissner performs as a soloist and chamber musician. She has participated in numerous productions and recordings, including concert recording at the Festival "Dramma per Musica" in Warsaw (solo cantatas by G.F. Handel and A. Scarlatti, 2022), Oratorio "I pellegrini dal Sepolcro di nostro Signore" by Johann Adolf Hasse (radio broadcast within EBU, 2018), "St. John Passion" by Johann Sebastian Bach (2014), "L'Incoronatione di Poppea" by Claudio Moteverdi (2014).
She is interested not only in the music of the Baroque period, but also in the culture of this period. She has participated several times in Festival "Cracovia Danza" in Krakow, where she learned different styles of ancient dance art. In 2019 she would be awarded at the Mozarteum Research Competition for her project.
Agata Meissner is a graduate of the Mozarteum University Salzburg in the harpsichord class of Florian Birsak and performance practice class of Reinhard Goebel. She also studied at the Fryderyk Chopin Music University and the Institute of Musicology at Warsaw University.
