What does it mean to feel lost or found in a crowd?

 "extra-intro" is a participatory project in the genre of applied theatre, where the main character is our experience of being among others.

The project is built around the voices and bodies of experts of everyday life: people who experienced sensitivity or discomfort in public space. Through conversation, movement, music and collaborative creation, we ask:
How do we live in a world designed by and for extroverts? Can we reimagine the crowd as a space for care, softness, or even joy?

This project consists of:
- An exhibition of research-based artistic material from personal walk-interviews;
- Performance of movement, music, and real stories featuring live drums and violin; participatory experience where audience members are gently invited to engage into actions.

"extra-intro" is a master’s project created by Anastasiia Larina as part of her MA in Applied Theatre - critical practice and community.

It is supported by https://www.bmeia.gv.at/themen/auslandskultur/kooperationen  ASoP-scholarship from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with various institutions, including the Mozarteum University with the support of Practicing Care.
