The contributions to this SOMA conference volume (vol. 13) document a collaboration between the Mozarteum University Salzburg and the Paris Lodron University Salzburg that dates back to 2019. The aim was to focus on the work of the poet Nelly Sachs from an artistic and academic perspective. The highlight was the world premiere of three chamber operas in October 2021.

Interjections. Salzburg Texts on Music - Art - Pedagogy Volume 13

Documentation of an event at the University Mozarteum Salzburg on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the poet's death

LIT Publishing House, Vienna/Berlin 2024

This volume provides insights into the artistic creative process, academic contributions to Nelly Sachs' work and an examination of her poetic oeuvre by pupils at a secondary school in Salzburg. They enable a multifaceted approach to a great personality of German-language literature.

"Exhalations" is number 13 in the series "Drafts. Texts on Music and Art": https://www.lit-verlag.de/publikationen/reihen/einwuerfe.-texte-zu-musik-kunst-paedagogik/?p=1
