Doris Moser

Senior Artist in the field of painting[Fine Arts] Innsbruck
Doris Moser is a visual artist and lecturer at the Mozarteum University in the fields of painting and graphic arts in visual education. A trained commercial artist, she also teaches at the Technical College for Business, Graphic Arts and Communication in Bressanone. As a member of the South Tyrolean Artists' Association and chairwoman of the Association for Art and Culture LURX, she is particularly active in the South Tyrolean art scene.
Doris Moser (*1987) attended painting and drawing courses at the Libera Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence after completing her training at the commercial graphics school in Brixen. From 2009 she studied art education (painting) and textile design at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. In 2012 she founded the artist group Bockstuhlplatte together with Elisabeth-Maria Wieder and Katharina Spiss. She moved to Budapest in 2014 as part of an artist in residence program. As chairman of the association for art and culture LURX, she is increasingly involved in the areas of art education in the Wipptal area. In addition to her artistic work, Doris Moser is very concerned about issues relating to environmental awareness and sustainability, which she pursues as a beekeeper and farmer. Today she lives and works in Valgenäun, Innsbruck and Brixen.
