Platform of European Theater Academies

Research project

Theatre practice is fast evolving across countries of the European Union. In nowadays theatre there is no longer a clear predominant playing style. Influenced by the idea of post-dramatic theater the traditional concept about text, play and scenery and thus the relation with the public, has drastically changed. Through crossovers with other disciplines, defined categories such as theater, dance and music, confronted with the fine arts and new media, witnessed an evolution of their autonomous characteristics.
