Zoryana Kushpler (*Lwiw / Lemberg) studied singing in her father's class at the Music Academy in Lwiw from 1993. In 1998 she moved to the Hamburg University of Music, where she studied with Prof. Judith Beckmann. In 2000, Zoryana Kushpler won first prize at the renowned ARD competition in Munich. Appearances have taken her to Tonhalle Zurich, Victoria Hall in Geneva, Leisz Halle and Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, Konzert Haus Berlin, Royal Albert Hall and Barbican Center in London, New York Carnegie Hall and many others. From October 2023, Zoryana Kushpler will be Univ.-Prof. for singing at the Mozarteum University.

Mezzo-soprano Zoryana Kushpler first learned the piano from her mother when she was five, but later switched to the violin. While still a student, she performed successfully at the Lviv Opera House as Rosina in Rossini's "Il Barbiere di Sevilla" and as Maddalena in Verdi's "Rigoletto". During her studies at the Musikhochschule in Hamburg in the class of Prof. Judith Beckmann, she received important artistic impulses in master classes with Teresa Berganza, Renata Scotto and Kurt Moll.

She made her debut at the Vienna State Opera in 2007 as Adelaide in Arabella and was a permanent member of the ensemble until 2020 in various mezzo-soprano roles. At the same time, Zoryana Kushpler had numerous appearances at the Volksoper in Vienna. She continues to appear as a guest at the Vienna State Opera and the Volksoper and devotes herself to the song and concert subject, among other things.
