The young Chinese pianist Jingge Yan is an active soloist. He is the First Prize winner of the International Beethoven Competition Bonn in 2011 whose performance can be heard frequently in Europe, Asia and America. His beautiful and philosophical interpretation of Beethoven’s music has been praised world-widely. The highlights of his recent engagements include concerts with Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra, Sinfonieorchester Aachen, Musica Viva Orchestra Moscow and Orchestre de l`Opéra de Rouen. 
In 2013, Jingge Yan made his debut CD with a program of late Beethoven piano works including “Diabelli Variations”, for which he was highly acclaimed by the critics and press. The WDR 3 moderator, Ms. Eleonore Büning, comments it as “wonderful interpretation that was never heard before”. In 2016 and 2017, Jingge Yan recorded 32 Beethoven Piano Sonatas in Beethoven Haus Bonn and became the first Chinese pianist interpreting the complete Beethoven Sonatas.
In 2015, Jingge Yan was entitled “Beethoven Ambassador” by Beethoven Haus and the city Bonn. He is therefore the first Asian pianist to be awarded such an honor. As an “Ambassador”, Jingge Yan has been devoted to the musical and artistic communication between Europe and China. He is also an active whose articles can be found in publications for music and art. In 2017, he was appointed lecturer in piano by the Mozarteum University Salzburg.
