Claudia Sendlinger studied German, English and speech training in Regensburg. She also completed practical semesters at Columbia University New York and Juilliard School New York in the acting departments. From 1999 to 2015 she taught speech training at the University of Music and Theatre Munich (school music) and at the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart (acting). During as well as after her training, she explored the methods of Kristin Linklater and Gestural Speaking. In 2015 she was a mentee in the Excellence Program of the Berlin University of the Arts/Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch for women in artistic university teaching. Since 2001, she has been coaching actors in their vocal development and text work at various German-language theaters and has been working on speech choruses for productions. She teaches German phonetics to singers at various opera houses. Works she has been involved in can be seen at Schauspiel Frankfurt, Staatstheater and Staatsoper Nürnberg, Theater Münster and Nationaltheater Mannheim, Staatstheater Stuttgart, Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz München and Theater in der Josefstadt Wien, as well as at the Salzburg Festival (drama and opera) in 2017, 2019, 2020 and 2021. Since 2015 she has been Senior Lecturer in Speech Training in Drama at the University Mozarteum Salzburg.
