Bernadeta Czapraga was born in Poland and received her first violin lessons at the age of 7. She studied violin concert with Harald Herzl at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. She completed her postgraduate studies in violin with Klara Flieder as well as her studies in instrumental pedagogy. She specialized in baroque violin at the Anton Bruckner Private University Linz with Michi Gaigg and took part in numerous master classes on performance practice.
She completed her PhD studies in musicology summa cum laude with Joachim Brügge at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. The dissertation on W. A. ​​Mozart's Violin Concerto in A major, KV 219, in selected interpretations was awarded the "Award of Excellence" by the BMWF for the best dissertation of 2013 in musicology.

Since 2014 she has been a university assistant (postdoc) at the Institute for Musical Reception and Interpretation History at the University of Mozarteum Salzburg.
