Lecturer

  • 5020 Salzburg

Clara Tinsobin graduated from elemental music and dance pedagogy as well as singing pedagogy at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. She received her vocal training from Regina Sgier and Albert Hartinger. She received further creative impulses from Kurt Widmer and Ingrid Mayr-Janser. During her studies she was wokring as a singer and pedagogue. She led numerous musical-dance projects with different groups at various institutions – often with a focus on singing.

As a singer, she has been performed on almost every stage in Salzburg such as the Großes Festspielhaus, Jedermann stage, Mozarteum Foundation, Landestheater, Arge, Jazzit and Rockhouse. She performs as a soloist and as a member of well-known choirs, ensembles and bands. She also regularly sings as a soloist in various churches. Her vocal focus is on classical singing across all centuries, but she also likes to explore other genres. She has a particular preference for unconventional crossover projects, where the borders become blurred.

In 2015 she started teaching at the Orff Institute of the Mozarteum University Salzburg and in 2018 at the Thomas Bernhard Institute. Since 2017 she has been teaching singing at the Musikum Grödig as well as holistic music making at the Anif elementary school.
