Clara Tinsobin

MA

Clara Tinsobin graduated in Elemental Music and Dance Pedagogy as well as Vocal Pedagogy at the Mozarteum University and has performed as a singer on (almost) all of Salzburg's major stages. She has a special preference for crossover projects and for the unconventional, where boundaries become blurred. Since 2015 she has been teaching voice training at the Thomas Bernhard Institute as well as the basics of vocal group teaching and teaching practice with groups at the Orff Institute.

Clara Tinsobin received her vocal training from Regina Sgier and Albert Hartinger. She received further vocal impulses from Kurt Widmer and Ingrid Mayr-Janser. Already during her studies she was active as a singer and teacher, she led numerous music and dance projects with different groups at different institutions, often with a focus on singing.

She sang as a soloist and as a member of well-known choirs, ensembles and bands in the Großer Festspielhaus, on the Jedermann stage, in the Mozarteum Foundation, in the Landestheater, in the Arge, in Jazzit, in the Rockhouse and many others. She also sings regularly as a soloist in various churches. Her vocal focus is on classical, unamplified singing across all centuries, but she also likes to venture into other genres. In addition to her work at the Mozarteum University, she has been teaching singing at the Musikum Grödig and holistic music-making at the Anif elementary school since 2017.
