Christian Sattlecker was born in Salzburg in 1962 and received his education at Ecole Jacques Lecoq and Ecole Pagneux/Gaulier in Paris. In the early 80s he already was part of numerous projects in the areas of music, performance and happening with artists such as Florian Flicker, Thomas Renoldner and Klaus Reif. He has a longtime collaboration with Belgian director and theater maker Jos Houben. Together with "Brötzner's New Theater", he made theater experiments before founding "Theater YBY" in Salzburg with Anna Hauer and Walter Anichhofer in 1989. Sattlecker works with "ohne Titel", a network for theater and art projects. He worked on over 30 theater productions, guest performances, projects and tours in Austria, Germany, Belgium, Great Britain, Italy and Switzerland. He also worked in film and television and directed in Austria and abroad. He studied Feldenkrais with Myriam Pfeffer in Paris, which since then has been an  important focus of his work. Since 2004 he has been teaching Feldenkrais and mime and play-acting with masks at the Thomas Bernhard Institute at the Mozarteum University Salzburg as well as Feldenkrais in private individual and group lessons.
