Eva Salmutter
Born in Lower Austria, piano studies at the Conservatory (today private university) in Vienna under Prof. Gertraud Kubacsek. Further piano studies in Paris under Gaby Casadesus.
Master classes under Heinz Medijmorec, Philippe Entremont, Victor Merzhanov and Philippe Bianconi.
Teaching activities in Lower Austria and at the music schools in Vienna. Lecturer at the “Payerbacher Meisterkursen“ (Payerbacher Master Classes). Eva Salmutter is Professor in Piano, Chamber Music and Acoustics at the University Mozarteum Salzburg (in Innsbruck, at the second location). 2007 her book in piano didactics “Faszination Klavier“ (“fascination piano”) was edited by DV Thaur, a publishing company.
Concert activity in Europe and Japan, as solist, in camber music formations and and as a Lied accompanist. Member of the Phoenix-Klaviertrio Vienna, of the Sirius-Trio (transverse flute, violoncello and piano) and of the “Innsbrucker Flötentrio” (two transverse flutes and piano).
A lot of  broadcasting-, TV- and CD-productions
Eva Salmutter has often put rarely played music in her programms. (For example pianomusic for one hand or music written by women composers). In her repertoire contemporary music is chosen as well, particular written by Austrian and Scandinavian composers and women composers.
She even makes "steps between borders", meaninig between art- and popular music as well as between the arts (music and literature; music and art).
